 | We recently had the opportunity to review the new VeggieTales:The Little House That Stood DVD.As soon as it arrived at our home, of course, we had to watch it. Again. And again. And again.We loved it that much.What a great movie this is.As you can see by the photos my daughter Amelia and my great niece Nautica really enjoyed watching the new addition to the VeggieTales movies we already own.I really enjoyed this new movie also.Very action packed and also very funny to,I found myself laughing a lot.As always there are sing a long songs and a great message about following the wise plans from the Master Builder's Handbook! |

The Little House That Stood has a Mother Goose Theme. The first story is loosely based on both the Three Little Pigs and The Wise and Foolish Builders.Our three resident builders are Larry, Mr. Lunt, and Bob.When the Three Little Pigs roll into Cabbageville looking to build some new houses, they meet one builder with a plan and two without a clue! Larry builds with hay, Mr. Lunt with bricks, but only Bob slowly but surely works on building his houses on a firm foundation - following the wise plans from the Master Builder's Handbook!While Larry and Mr. Lunt concern themselves with things like putting a hot tub on the property. Will the Little Piggies make the right choices when it comes to building their houses - and their lives - on solid ground? Find out in this parable that shows kids when they follow God's blueprints, then can stand strong when the storms come!

Our Thoughts on Veggie Tales: The Little House That Stood As I mentioned above,My daughter Amelia and great niece Nautica loved it! In the last couple of days,Amelia has watched it everyday.Veggie Tales appeals to kids because of the bright wonderful colors,the sing a long songs and creative story lines.Parents love Veggie Tales because of the humor and the positive lessons they teach our children.
The Little House That Stood does not disappoint.The twist on the Mother Goose stories they used was brilliant.The lessons are really good teaching tool to teach children about God.Veggie Tales: The Little House That Stood DVD gets children thinking about their foundation – What is life based on? It also teaches them to make good, less selfish decisions in their life.
