I recently got to review THE IDENTICAL ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK SAMPLER.
I listened to the sampler with my little girl Amelia.We enjoyed listening to the songs.Amelia kept saying "Momma Dance" and she started to play freeze saying "Momma Freeze!,Momma Dance" hahaha.It was very funny! I loved listening to Blake Rayne sing. I have to say "It Don't Come Easy", "City Lights" and "Your Love's is Keepin' Me Tonight" are my favorite songs on the soundtrack.Amelia was saying "Momma sing the song Your Love's is Keepin' Me Tonight" .I also enjoyed watching the movie and loved to see how were each song was played in the film. If you are a fan of classic Rock&Roll, Motown and R&B then you should enjoy this sampler. You can visit The IDENTICAL to hear some of the songs from the movie. Be sure to view The IDENTICAL in theaters September 5th.

About the film:
The IDENTICAL
tells the compelling story of twin brothers unknowingly separated at birth during the Great Depression. DREXEL HEMSLEY becomes an iconic 50’s rock ’n’ roll star, while RYAN WADE (Blake Rayne) struggles to balance his love for music and pleasing his father. The Reverend Wade (Ray Liotta) and his wife (Ashley Judd) are sure their adopted son has been gifted and called by God to be a preacher. But Ryan challenges his parent’s vision for his life, and unflinchingly chooses to launch his own music career with his best friend (Seth Green). Encouraged by his wife (Erin Cottrell) and employer (Joe Pantoliano), Ryan embarks on an unpredictable, provocative path - performing the legendary music of Drecel Hemsley in sold out venues all across the country. I also recently had the opportunity to preview before it hit the theaters."The Identical", starring Blake Rayne-a former Elvis impersonator in his first movie; Ray Liotta-The Place Beyond the Pines, Observe and Report; Ashley Judd-Divergent, Olympus Has Fallen and Seth Green-Old Dogs, Without a Paddle.This cast is amazing. It takes similarities of Elvis Story! Like a What If?
I was telling a friend on the phone last night about the movie that is a 'What If...a story that parallels the life of Elvis Presley.I was thinking this the whole time watching the movie that it is a fiction story of his life.The movie uses different names but there is no doubt who they based the story about.I was telling my friend that Elvis had a twin brother that died at childbirth.
The film is about depression era and a young family,based around 1936.The young married couple has twin boys and for financial reasons because they can not find work has come to the decision to give one of the twins away.The couple then even claim that the one baby boy died and then bury a empty box,without anyone else but them and the other couple knowing the real truth.Ray and Ashley are the lucky couple to receive the baby boy and raise him as their own.Most of the movie is about this one twin. Ray is a preacher and has the dream of his son Blake to be minister just like himself.While the other twin boy,is also played by Blake.He becomes a famous rock and roll singer.He is nicknamed 'The Dream'. The only problem with the Preachers dreams for his son.His son Blake does not want to pursue his dad's dream,but instead wants to have his own dream of singing and writing songs.He then starts singing behind his father's back.People are noticing and telling him how much he looks like 'The Dream', he then becomes an impersonator called The Identical. Seth plays Blake's childhood friend that is a drummer in the band.The new songs sound like songs from the Elvis era and would be sorta the kind of songs he would of performed.The star of the movie, Blake.He does the singing.He use to be a Elvis impersonator in real life. Blake not only looks a lot like Elvis but his voice sounds really good.This film is rated "PG" for the smoking and drinking. It has a running time of 1 hour & 47 minutes.
I enjoyed this film very much and can not wait till it comes on DVD,So I can buy a copy to watch again and again.
