We recently had the opportunity to review Touched By an Angel's Roma Downey new book geared to Preschoolers called Little Angels Prayers for Every Day.Let me say that this book is really nice.It is not too big for your preschooler to hold and read.Very nice simple prayers that your young child can understand.My 2 year old Amelia loves the prayers and the wonderful illustrations in the book.I am so excited that we had the chance to review this wonderful children's prayer book.
Teaching children to pray is not always an easy thing to do.Prayers are usually assigned to meals and bedtime, but I want my daughter Amelia to know she can pray to God/Jesus and the Holy Spirit at anytime.
I love that this book includes prayers for others,prayers for forgiveness, and prayers for guidance, as well as many other topics. I thought you might like to see an example of the wording of a prayer, so I chose this one:
Dear God,
You made the sun and moon.
You made the galaxy.
And,Lord,I'm very grateful
that you also made me!

I love the way the rhyming is paired with the meaningful words to God to make it so simple for children to grasp and to remember to pray everyday.
