My Hair After I colored it with Chocolate Cherry....the color just faded out bad after about 5 washing's....It faded to this wash out color :(  | My Hair After using Revlon Color Silk 3DB Burgundy after around 10 + washing's....After 10 days is the same color.  |
I have natural dark blonde/light brown hair with some natural silver streaks in the root area (age 42). I have colored, bleached, toned, dyed-almost all colors you can think of, highlighted my hair well since I first discovered it as a teen.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I wanted to to redo my hair because the expensive two boxes each $9.99 hair dye I used was faded after around 5 washes and was not the Burgundy color it was suppose to be.Was not happy when they do this.
I seen a lady at the grocery store with Burgundy colored hair.I asked her what color,how much and what brand hair dye she used? She told me Revlon Color Silk 3DB Burgundy and is really cheep at around $2.99 a box.
Well I then had to got to Walmart so I picked up 2 boxes of Revlon - Color Silk Hair Color in 3DB Burgundy it was around $6.00 for the two boxes. I have hip bone length,very thick,coarse,curly,frizzy hair and knew I would need 2 boxes.I washed it the day before. I mixed the bottles, applied gloves and starting with the crown of my head worked outwards making sure all roots were covered.I applied the remainder through the rest of the hair. I left it on for 60 minutes,as my hair is not taking dye very well these days and rinsed it in the sink and applied the conditioner and combed all that through and left it on awhile then hopped into shower and rinsed.
I was quite shocked that it covered my hair really nice.And it has held up these past 10 days quite well.A little bit of the dye has rinsed out in the 10 days but is still around the same shade it was when I first dyed it.
I give Revlon Color Silk 3DB Burgundy 5 Stars out of 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs up!!
