Kin Pal, LLC was founded in 2011 by Jason Goike after realizing that his daughter needed a better way to connect with her out of state grandparents. The concept was a plush toy animal that could hold two standard 4″ x 6″ photos underneath each ear, allowing children to play peek-a-boo and interact with photos of long distance loved ones. The original Kin Pal, an 18″ plush hound dog, was created in January of 2012 and was very well received by his daughter.

Kin Pal - Smiles From Ear to Ear
I recently seen Kin Pal on a blog I go to every now and then.I thought what a cute stuffed animal dog and then I saw that you can keep a 4 X 6 photo under each ear.I thought to myself "I would love to review/giveaway one of these dogs on my blog and give the dog to my daughter Amelia as a memorial to her daddy (that passed away 33 months ago,when she was 16 1/2 days old) and that it is a perfect way to always keep him and I close to her."

So I contacted the company and they sent me Kin Pal for Amelia and I to review.I made two 4 X 6 photos-The one is of the last photos I have of my husband Richard alive on his 40th Birthday-he passed away 10 days after it was taken.The second photo is of Amelia and I.There is a thick clear plastic slot to place the 4 X 6 photo in under both ears.It is recommended that you keep the cards that came in your Kin Pal's ears behind your photos to increase their durability.The photos fit perfect in the slots on the ears.Kin Pal is large,very soft stuffed animal ,very cute and cuddly.Kids will like being able to see a picture of a loved one whenever they left his ears up.Kin Pal is for ages 2 and up.This makes a perfect gift between long-distance friends and family members.Kin Pal is well made,well stitched and paw pads are made of a leather like material.A stuffed animal that will last a lifetime.Kin Pal is available atwww.mykinpal.com.
